Our commitment

DocketLayer LLC is committed to ensuring that our website and documentation are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim for docketlayer.ai and our documentation to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Current accessibility features

• Semantic HTML. Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic markup to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Text alternatives. Images and non-text content include descriptive alternative text where applicable.
• Color contrast. We aim to maintain WCAG 2.1 Level AA color contrast ratios between text and background colors.
• Keyboard navigation. The website is designed to be navigable by keyboard without requiring a mouse.
• Readable typography. We use clear, legible typefaces and avoid essential content in images.
• Responsive design. The website is usable across a range of devices and screen sizes.
• Plain language. Documentation is written in clear, direct language. Where technical terminology is necessary, we provide context and explanation.
• No auto-playing media. We do not use auto-playing audio or video content.

Known limitations

We are a small team and acknowledge our accessibility implementation may not be perfect. Known limitations include:

• Third-party content. Our documentation links to external sites including GitHub, x402.org, and others. We do not control the accessibility of third-party sites.
• Code samples. Documentation contains extensive code samples. Accessibility of code blocks in all assistive technology configurations may vary.
• PDF documents. Any downloadable documents may not fully conform to PDF accessibility standards. We will provide accessible alternatives on request.

About the API

The DocketLayer API is a programmatic interface designed for consumption by software systems and AI agents rather than human users directly. It does not present a visual interface and does not raise traditional web accessibility concerns. All human-facing content — documentation, guides, and the website — is covered by this statement.

Technical specifications

docketlayer.ai is built with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Accessibility is evaluated using automated tools and manual review, with testing against recent versions of major browsers in combination with NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers.
